Privacy policy

This page explains what we collect when you use this website, why, who it goes to, and how to ask us to delete it. It covers the website only. It does not cover a phone call, a text message, or an in-person estimate.
Who we are

What you send us on purpose
The quote form on our contact page asks for your name and phone number, and optionally your email, your city, and a description of what you want built. When you submit it, that information is sent to us as an email. That is all it is used for: getting back to you about your project.
The form does not save your message on this website. There is no account to create, no customer database behind the site, and no newsletter list.
What gets recorded automatically
Our web host keeps standard server logs of requests to the site. A log entry includes the IP address that made the request, the browser and operating system it reports, which page was requested, and when. These are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to identify you or to build a profile.
Advertising and analytics
We do not run advertising on this site. We do not use retargeting or advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers. As of the effective date above, this site does not run website analytics.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own. The map embedded on our contact page is served by Google, and Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address when that map loads. If you would rather not load it, you can reach us using the phone number, email address, or form on the same page without touching the map.
Who else touches your information
- Our web host serves the site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Resend delivers the quote form as an email to us. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google provides the mailbox those emails land in, and serves the map on our contact page. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Nobody else receives it. We do not sell your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
A quote request stays in our email until we delete it, the same as any other message a customer sends us. If you would like yours removed, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Email dddeckingandroofing@gmail.com to ask what we have about you, to get a copy, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Use the phone number instead of the form if you would rather not type anything into the site.
- Set your browser to block cookies and third-party content. Nothing on this site except the contact-page map depends on it.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it. We have nothing to sell or share regardless.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child sent us something through the form, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add a tool that collects something new, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
